Rose Bliss Balm
rose moisturizing body cream

Shiffa (pronounced Shee-fa) meaning Healing.. Hello lovelies, during the weekend I was Sephora-Shopping, while passing by the skin care section for much needed creams (yea right? I keep telling myself that) the amicable lady standing in front of Shiffa Dubai was all over me and honestly just rubbing my arm with some sort of balm, to my surprise I didn’t flip to Cruella but I stunned OMG what is this? I couldn’t believe the smoothness and silkiness feel on my arm and on top of that a heavenly oriental rosy scent. She was like I told you you’re gonna like it!
So she explains: Shiffa Dubai was founded and created by a local female doctor , Lamees Hamdan, when she first started at her own home she used to test the products on herself (talking about credibility? well you got it Doctor!), she integrated nature with science and she uses Iranian rose, South East Asian tamanu, Indian amber, Egyptian jasmine, Lebanese orange blossom and African shea butter among other unique ingredients that she combines to create Shiffa‘s rare and healing products.
Back to the Rose Balm, it is infused with Arabian argan nut oil, African shea butter, mango butter, honey & the powerful Rosa centifolia & Rosa Damascena to heal, restore, rejuvenate & firm skin. Meadowfoam, evening primrose, and chamomile help repair. “This decadent balm awakens the senses & leaves skin radiant and more youthful looking.”
And you just apply it when and where is needed or on whole body after the shower / bath. However, it is relatively a small jar for the whole body yet outrageously expensive for a body balm.
The balm comes wrapped in a folded package, in a relatively heavy glassy jar, just below the lid when you open it is full with dried rose petals , then tataa the balm. I would have loved if it came with some sort of applicator, much neater than to dig your fingers/nails into the balm each time you want to apply it.
You can find this gorgeous product at Sephora Dubai Mall or online at their own website Shiffa.
What do you think ladies was it worth the 1,500 AED (approx. 400$)?
